1. What We Collect

Postevo collects minimal data necessary to provide the Service:

• Email address: Only for Premium subscribers, collected via Polar.sh during checkout
• Text you submit for formatting: Sent to the Groq API for processing. This text is NOT stored by Postevo
• Extension preferences: Stored locally in Chrome Storage on your device only (e.g., selected language, template preferences)

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not store your posts or formatted content on our servers
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes
• We do not use cookies or tracking pixels
• We do not collect your browsing history
• We do not collect any LinkedIn profile data

3. How We Use Your Data

• Email: Used only for subscription management and transactional communications via Polar.sh
• Text content: Processed in real-time by the Groq API to generate formatted output. Not retained after processing
• Preferences: Stored locally on your device to personalize your experience

4. Third-Party Services

Postevo uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Polar.sh: Payment processing and subscription management. Polar.sh Privacy Policy
• Groq API: AI text processing. Text data is not retained by Groq after processing. Groq Privacy Policy
• Cloudflare Workers: Secure API proxy infrastructure. Cloudflare Privacy Policy

5. Data Storage

• All user preferences are stored locally via the Chrome Storage API on your own device
• No personal data is stored on Postevo servers
• Billing information is stored by Polar.sh in accordance with their privacy policy

6. Data Retention

We retain no personal data beyond what is necessary for active subscriptions. If you cancel your Premium subscription, Polar.sh will handle deletion of your billing data in accordance with their policy. Your local extension preferences can be cleared at any time by removing the extension.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access any personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of any non-transactional communications

8. Children's Privacy

Postevo is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify Premium subscribers via email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
